How to Play Boolean Genetic Musical Tag

(1) Point a tabbed browser here

(2) Read over the abstract of Kauffman's 1969 paper on random boolean nets.

(3) Choose genes to randomly turn on and off, or create interference patterns by opening each gene in a new tab. (to layer - usually right click, then open in a new tab. On Mac OS X, control-click on the gene)

(4) Use the blue "play buttons" to turn genes on and off; or use tabbed browser to hear them together, as you like.

(5) Behold and play any patterns that emerge through the connections of any "genes" with each other - music. The Resonance (between the Genes) is the Composer!

(6) Click edit, swap out "genes" from sites such as  freesound
